Corinna Janson
Founder of Tanzhologie® and studio manager
With her cheerful and uncomplicated nature, Corinna gets people of all ages moving
As a long-time student of Bernhild Thormaehlen , Corinna took over the dance studio in Bad Kreuznach in 2011. She completed her training in ballet pedagogy with Jens Hellemann and Maria Haus, among others, in the Bielefeld seminar for ballet pedagogy. Corinna worked for 14 years as an alternative practitioner in the Janson naturopathic practice and devotes her professional work intensively to the question of how far dance can help to maintain human health. Based on her training with Dr. Detlef Kappert , she developed the Tanzhologie® teaching concept . She is certified with distinction in dance medicine ( zam. certificate at tamed eV ) and completed the MAS course Advanced Studies in Dance Science at the University of Bern with insigni cum laude .
Corinna speaks German, English, French and Spanish. She is active as a speaker at home and abroad and, as an honorary board member at ta.med , Tanzmedizin Deutschland eV, is committed to more health in and through dance.
Meike Thom
Children's ballet
Meike teaches with a lot of empathy and above all with an infectious enthusiasm for dance
After her two-year assistantship at the Tanzhologie Studio, Meike is the first dance teacher to independently apply Corinna Janson's holistic concept in children's ballet. She has been successfully leading her own groups since 2016. Her versatile dance experiences in the areas of ballet, modern dance, dance theater and dance improvisation are incorporated, as is her personal experience as a mother of three children. In her own childhood and youth, Meike was a student of Bernhild Thormaehlen for many years , whose style of movement particularly influenced her as a dancer.
